- Timing has to do with a lot in life...I guess courage also. In July, after having a lunch with some friends at an Italian restaurant in Montecito, Mark came home with such excitement over the fact the Braheems were taking a year sabbatical to Florence, Italy. He thought it was such a great idea; what an experience to give your children!!! Well, needless to say, we looked at each other and said "Why not us?". After six months of hurried planning, doubts, excitement and the stars lining up, we begin our journey to Italy. First stop was Switzerland for a ski. We hope you enjoy our blog!!!
